Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT)
Acupuncturist Tapas Flemming fell asleep in her office one day and awoke to realize how a particular acupuncture point could be used to heal a whole person’s system. To do this the thumb and ring finger gently pinch the the bridge of the nose , almost touching the eyes, the other hand cups the back of the head at the same level, fingers almost touching the ear. There are series of statements you can make while holding this TAT pose to aid release, although I found I could just hold the point, sit back, relax and allow the magic to happen. This can be done for up to 20 minutes a day.

Negative thoughts began to bubble up and not come back while I was doing this, after a couple of weeks doing this daily I was in a near constantly present and blissful state. As layers began to peel away I did have to eventually go and use other techniques to make progress again before coming back to TAT, as with other release techniques such as Sedona Method and EFT there are people a small percentage of people only ever need to use the one, but I think most of us will be like myself and need to find something to go deeper for a while.
TAT like many other of the best techniques, is freely available, the official site has an instruction book for download. I usually leave the reader without links so they can start research for themselves, Wikipedia pages for other techniques I’ve reviewed so far have been a useful source of references, but the page for TAT seems to have inspired some particularly righteous anger in somebody, in doing so whoever wrote it inadvertently provides an excellent demonstration of the fallacy in trying to prove a negative, leaving the rest of us somewhat bereft of useful information. On the positive however there isn’t that much to learn, I was able to describe the bulk of the technique in the first paragraph. There are official DVDs with further information but I’ve not seen them yet so I can’t comment.
I like to write more than this usually, but it really is that simple and I want to keep it that way this time.
